fall happenings

We have had a busy, but always entertaining, fall season so far. We'll give you all a little run-down of the events of the past few weeks and hopefully give you a taste with some pictures. Tracy started back to another quarter at school in September and has found it to be a little less stressful. Gus has continued to work at the convalescent center along with a few other on the side jobs. On September 10th, Gus proudly completed his first ever 5K race at the DuPage County Convalescent Center Fall Festival. In mid-September Gus' cousin Amy and her husband Chris had their first baby, Ella. On September 23-25th we were able to take a short trip to Illinois Beach State Park for our second anniversary. We spent one windy night camping and one night at the resort. Tracy's college housemate Becca and her husband Tom welcomed their first child McKayla on September 24th. Tracy had her fourth homecoming at Wheaton College on October 7-9 and had a ton of fun hanging out with all of the swimming girls again. The alumni women definately had a good showing at the swim meet and I dare say, made an impression :) Then to add to the big events Tracy's other college housemate/teammate, Hillary and her husband Jeremy welcomed their first child, Raymond on October 11.
All together, September and October were months of incredible blessing as we rejoiced with friends and enjoyed the beauty of God's creation during this season.
